The Blue Orangery was developed as a conceptual luxury design in close collaboration with the client, bringing together classical architectural character, collectible contemporary furniture, and a rich, immersive blue palette. The intention was to create a space that feels theatrical, sophisticated, and distinctly luxurious while remaining comfortable and highly social, a room designed equally for conversation, relaxation, and entertainment.

Overview

The composition is anchored by sculptural Edra sofas, whose deep blue upholstery establishes the dominant color language of the room. Edra stools continue this expressive character around the game area, while Cassina chairs, side tables, and coffee tables introduce refined Italian forms and a more architectural counterpoint to the softness of the seating.

At the center of the entertainment setting, an Impatia game table becomes both a functional piece and a refined design object, its transparent construction adding visual lightness and contemporary luxury to the composition. Decorative BULL & STEIN chrome-blue cherries were incorporated as playful sculptural art objects, reinforcing the blue accents while adding a distinctive collectible quality to the interior.

The existing classical language of arched openings, decorative mouldings, and dark architectural finishes is deliberately contrasted with expressive contemporary pieces.

Warm metallic and bronze details, natural greenery, the richly patterned carpet, and softly illuminated surfaces prevent the blue palette from feeling cold, giving the interior greater depth, warmth, and a more layered sense of luxury.
